From 5,000 miles away, a couple finds home!
The situation: A couple needs to purchase a home. They’re currently stationed 5,000 miles away from their final destination of Holly Ridge.
Meet Lesley and Zack. Zack is a major in the Marines stationed in Afghanistan. Upon learning of his upcoming reassignment to Camp Lejeune in Jacksonville, NC, he had to find a home in the area that he and his wife would love.
Zack came across The Cottages at Holly Ridge online and shared the information with his wife. Lesley like what she saw but was a bit intimidated by the idea of building a home remotely and purchasing it sight unseen.
As soon as they began their conversation with the Cardinal Builders team at The Cottages, their fears went away. Lesley used The Cottages website to choose a floorplan. Then, she worked with design manager, Michele Cook to choose flooring, materials, colors and upgrades.
The team worked with Zack and Lesley to design and build a home they would both be proud of.
When they finally arrived at The Cottages, they were thrilled with their home. And our team was thrilled to finally welcome them into the neighborhood in person!
